DAVAA Events /Food & Drink Expo – Tay Cities Business Month 2020
February 13, 2020 @ 12:00 pm
Food and drink has always been inextricably linked to Scotlands natural environments including rural landscapes and coastal areas but increasingly linked to our vibrant cities and towns. Making connections to these can help visitors to develop a strong sense of place. Visitors spend around £995 million on eating and drinking when on holiday and food tourism offers significant opportunities.
The regions have a rich heritage from soft fruits to potato vodka, with everything from oils, dressings and condiments to artisan chocolate and ice cream and from award-winning meats to traditional bakes and confectionery. You will be able to talk directly to the producers, hear why they are so passionate and their credentials.
Who should attend:
Food and drink businesses which are looking to develop business and collaboration in the tourism and hospitality sector, visitor attractions, venues, transport and tour operators, retail, bars and restaurants, brewers and distillers and accommodation providers looking to develop their businesses through authentically sourced food and drink.
3m x 3m stands are available now for first and secondary food and drink producers based in Angus, Dundee, Perthshire or Fife (at no cost) but must be able to showcase your product story and services. Producers will be able to register by emailing – firstname.lastname@example.org.
What to expect:
