The Association represents the interests of the Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, Guest Houses, Resorts, Serviced Apartments and Holiday Self Catering businesses operating within the Dundee area. Our members represent over 1200 rooms and over 2000 of the bed spaces available to visiting guests.

With tourism figures historically showing Angus & Dundee performing well below other Scottish areas in levels of visitor numbers and room occupancy, we intend to help initiatives that raise the profile of our fantastic region and drive business for us all whilst tackling some of the diverse issues that affect our hospitality sector.

Dundee and Angus would form an integral part of any success that a potential Tay Cities Deal could bring with many of the proposed projects based within the regions. With the increased visitor numbers already expected as a result of tourism growth, the Accommodation sector will find itself  on the front line of visitor engagement We should have a bigger say on matters that affect our everyday businesses. Through DAVAA our voice can be heard and we can achieve much more together than individually.

Communication is vitally important and we endeavour to bring our members together at every opportunity with events, both social and educational, throughout the year to discuss the challenges that we face as accommodation suppliers.

Our Committee meet monthly and work together to make DAVAA an association that is actively engaged in delivering a more dynamic tourism area that will attract more visitors and help our members’ businesses to continued success.
